Spanish tennis star Paula Badosa recently shared a candid reflection on her demanding career, even amidst a string of positive results. Following her WTA 125 Bastad title and a first-round victory at the WTA 250 Iasi, Badosa openly discussed her persistent injury struggles.

Badosa on Injuries and Future Choices

Badosa admitted injuries are a constant companion. "The injury is something that always accompanies me when I play," she stated after defeating Anhelina Kalinina. "There are days when I can't control it. My body is reacting, but moments of fear persist." For what it's worth, her honesty offers a rare glimpse into the sport's hidden tolls.

When asked if she would choose tennis again, Badosa confessed, "I've thought about it many times, and I don't know." While it made her "a very strong woman," she firmly declared, "if I had a daughter, I would not force her to play tennis, absolutely not."
